This school is found Traditional Authority Kabudula, in Lilongwe northwest and is approximately 40km from the city of Lilongwe. The school has an enrolment of 906 students, with only 5 teachers and its catchment population is approximately 2,144 people. At this school there is no water point source to provide clean drinking water to pupils, no appropriate hand watching facilities, and poor sanitary facilities.

Project Proposal: This project will be a complete WASH Project including 4 double pit latrines (2 boys, 2 girls, 2 teachers), 2 urinal stations (1 boy, 1 girls) and 4 hand washing facilities (2 boys, 2 girls). It will also include hygiene training for the students and teachers and will include the planting of 100 trees around the water point and 4-5 trees for each student’s family. It also includes distribution of P&G’s PUR packs to each family. PUR packs - the water purification technology in a powder, is an amazing innovation that quickly turns 10 liters of dirty, potentially deadly water into clean and drinkable water.
