Isaac Chikwere Kasenjere is a Malawian hospitality executive, tourism strategist, and creative entrepreneur with more than 17 years of hands-on experience in hotel management and travel leadership. He currently serves as a Board Member at Freshwater Project International and as Resort Manager within Sunbird Hotels & Resorts, where he has led transformative growth initiatives, brand repositioning, and community-centered tourism development across multiple properties.
An MBA graduate of Amity University with additional certification in Sustainable Tourism Destination Management from Cornell University, Isaac combines strategic business leadership with a passion for people-centered service excellence. His career spans operations management, sales and marketing strategy, revenue optimization, and talent development, earning him multiple “Middle Manager of the Year” honors for turnaround leadership and record-setting profitability.
Beyond hospitality, Isaac is a TED Conferences TEDx speaker whose talk, “Finding My Voice in Silence,” highlights resilience, creativity, and the power of unconventional storytelling. As a ventriloquist for education, wellness, and tourism heritage, he uses puppetry as a tool for psychosocial support and youth empowerment. He is also the author of How to Run a Low-Cost Leisure Business and a tourism blogger passionate about sustainable transformation in Africa’s travel sector.
